All of Me for All of Him

My life was bought at a price, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That means this life I live is no longer mine. It belongs to Him who lives in me. Since that's true, surrendering my will to His isn't a loss... it's actually the most rational thing I can do. If He loved me so much to die for me and that is what's best for me, then I want nothing else. So I live by faith, following the path He has for me.... the good and the hard and the uncertain.

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." — Ephesians 3:20-21

What that looks like

God has gifted me with a specific set of skills: technical production, problem solving, and a heart for people. I believe we are called to give back what God has given us, fully and without holding back. Not for recognition. Not for a career. But for Him.

That means showing up for churches and organizations as a genuine partner, not as an expert who swoops in with all the answers. Someone who listens first, learns the context, and works alongside the people already doing the work. Every person I work with deserves to feel seen, not just helped.

And it means sharing what I know freely. The goal is always to leave people more equipped than I found them so the impact multiplies long after I'm gone.

How I think about tech

Every technical decision I make starts with one goal: distraction free worship. When production is done well, it fades into the background — creating space for people to focus on God rather than what's happening on stage.

Reliability

You can't lead people well if you're worried about whether the gear will hold. Reliability creates the freedom to focus on what actually matters.

Flexibility

Church is rarely predictable. The Spirit moves outside of a set schedule and the people and systems need to move with Him.

Simplicity

If people can understand it easily, they can respond easily — leaving more room for the Spirit to move.

Where God is leading me

God has been opening my eyes to the needs of other nations and something keeps drawing me toward Croatia. He's given me a craving to learn the language, introduced me to people I deeply care about, and stirred in me a love for this wide world of cultures and people He has created.

Croatia has been close to my heart. The people are incredibly kind, the technical need is real, and the churches there are doing incredible kingdom work with limited resources. I want to be a part of what God is doing there and be a resource for them to more effectively share the Gospel with their people and community. So I'm taking steps, currently through short term mission trips with Proclaim International, watching to see what doors He opens and which ones He closes.

God hasn't said go yet. The waters haven't fully parted. But I'm in the river, and I'll see what follows.
